All investigations have:-
- A pre-planned architecture where aims and objectives are analysed, options costed and a suitable proportionate action and resource plan prepared.
- Multi-disciplinary direction by a joint legal and investigatory team. We will strengthen the team with other expertise as circumstances require e.g. foreign lawyer’s assistance (or referral); translators; handwriting experts; forensic accountancy assistance or referral; data recovery and mining.
- Co-ordination of all aspects of the project, respecting jurisdictional legality, admissibility and relevance of the information being sought.
- On the ground proportionate co-ordination of the project in live investigations abroad
- An eye to the deployment of the product of the investigation in litigious proceedings in the likely World jurisdiction(s). Aside from intelligence, there is no point in generating investigative product which cannot be usefully deployed.
- Continued client involvement at all levels of the project;
- Swift, concise, definitive reporting within agreed time frames and interim reports (where possible).
We use state of the art equipment and techniques to progress the project.
Our investigations are bespoke tailored, proportionate and focused. We are happy to assist companies in internal corporate security investigations and/or advise on the scope, ambit, extent and cost of large scale investigations by established lawyers and accountants demanded by law enforcement institutions e.g. DOJ and/or SEC and other such bodies. A “scorched earth” investigation may be necessary but it may not be. We can advise the Board on these issues and be an interface and conduit between you and your investigation and legal team.
